OntoGolf Station, App for Golf Facilities and Instructors to be Exhibited in the New Product Zone
Atlanta, GA, January 11, 2012 - OntoGolf today announced its participation
with Range Servant at the PGA 2012 Merchandise Show (Booth #3542). The recently
launched golf lesson management platform - the OntoGolf System,
will also be featured
in the technology section of the event's New Product Zone.
The PGA merchandise show is the largest trade event of its kind in the golf industry,
and is expected to draw an audience of over 41000 industry professionals. Attendees
include PGA and LPGA professionals, retail and equipment buyers, golf course owners/managers/developers,
golf instructors, superintendents, and other industry professionals. It also includes
key off-course, on-course, large resorts and management companies.
This year's event will be held January 26-28,
at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The OntoGolf system is an innovative way for golfers to manage their own experience
while increasing lesson revenue for golf facilities and instructors. This also includes
golf management companies, park and recreational facilities that are looking to
supplement revenues. With its potential to make golf instruction accessible to players
at every level, OntoGolf is set to be a leader in player development and grow-the-game
initiatives.
The system includes the OntoGolf Station,
with an iPad pre-installed with the OntoGolf
app.
The station is accessible to golfers for registration, scheduling, check-in
and payments. Instructors can administer and monitor their business process from
a smart phone or any other web-enabled device. The patent pending process increases
the impulse scheduling opportunity and saves human resources.
Key features are:
-
Lesson management portal for instructors

Easy self-registration, lesson scheduling and check-in
-
An integrated instructional video portal
-
Seamless payment integration for pay later, credit cards or PayPal

"OntoGolf is a very effective way of increasing lesson revenue in the pro shop and
online," said Scott Morgan, PGA or LPGA Member and General Manager, The Lakes at El Segundo.
"When golfers manage their own registration, scheduling and payment, it's a lot
more efficient, and benefits everyone."
"The OntoGolf System is a revolutionary new revenue opportunity for instructors
and pro shops," said Hormuz Minina, founder of OntoGolf. "It's easy to use, access,
and can generate impulse purchases right where the golfer is most likely to schedule
a lesson - the golf facility. We're delighted with the response, since its launch
and expect it to have a lasting impact on the game of golf and the instructors who
teach it."
